What We Do
As an organization of national professional associations of Dietitians and Nutritionists, we support national dietetic associations and their members beyond borders.
National Dietetic Associations are professional societies whose members have education qualifications in food, nutrition and dietetics recognized by a national authority and whose members apply the science of nutrition to the feeding and education of groups of people and individuals, in health and disease.
ICDA develops international standards in consultation with its’ member associations. These are meant to express those important matters to which we can all agree, representing the common ground of dietetics around the world.

Call for proposals from National Dietetic Associations interested in hosting the 2032 International Congress of Nutrition and Dietetics (ICND). Deadline for expressions of interest is January 25th 2024
National Dietetic Associations (NDAs) that are members of the International Confederation of Dietetic Associations select a member NDA to host the International Congress of Nutrition and Dietetics (ICND) every four years.
