The mission of ICDA is to support national dietetic associations and their members, beyond national and regional boundaries.
What We Do
As an organization of national professional associations of Dietitians and Nutritionists, we support national dietetic associations and their members beyond borders.
National Dietetic Associations are professional societies whose members have education qualifications in food, nutrition and dietetics recognized by a national authority and whose members apply the science of nutrition to the feeding and education of groups of people and individuals, in health and disease.
ICDA develops international standards in consultation with its’ member associations. These are meant to express those important matters to which we can all agree, representing the common ground of dietetics around the world.
With its diverse community of members, the network provides valuable opportunities for knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and career growth in the field of nutrition and dietetics.
