Role of National Dietetic Associations in ICDA
National dietetic associations are the Members that form the International Confederation. Although national associations' members are the beneficiaries of the work we do, the International Confederation does not work directly with individual dietitians except those who are officially appointed by a national dietetic association.

National dietetic associations
 Host the International Congress of Dietetics
 Support international participation at the International Congress of Dietetics
 Sponsor and lead projects for ICDA
 Publish Dietetics Around the World and the ICDA web site
 Represent ICDA
 Pay Member fees and support official Representatives to attend Representatives Meetings and the International Congress of Dietetics
