Giuseppe Russolillo

Giuseppe is the President of the Spanish Association of Dietitians-Nutritionists (AEDN) and founder of the first Official College of Dietitians-Nutritionists in Spain. Throughout 10 years of professional experience he has accumulated a broad experience with renal dietetics and has become an expert in the dietetic treatment of obesity.

He is the author of 10 books on Human Nutrition and Dietetics covering renal disease and obesity. Recently, he has published together with Iva Marques, dietitian-nutritionist of the University of Zaragoza (Spain), the first Validated Exchange Lists of Spanish Foods to the Confection of Diets and Planning of Menus, as well as a photographic album of Spanish food portions.

He is a member of the Board of Directors of the ICDA, and also forms part of the Scientific Committee of the Association for the promotion of the 5-a-day consumption of fruits and fresh vegetables in Spain. He is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Observatory of the Hydration and Health, as well as Speaker of the Scientific Committee of the Institute of Cereals in Spain.

Recently, he become a part of the Meeting Committee of the Government of the ICDA, as the AEDN will organize the 17th International Congress of Dietetics in the city of Granada in 2016.
